Close Combat Weapon

A Close Combat Weapon counts as anything that can be used in base-to-base/close combat but isn't a special weapon, such as a Power Weapon or Power Fist.
They tend to be coupled with a pistol of some kind, adding to the combat prowess of the unit. They have no special abilities and can be anything from a bayonets to swords, knives to axes, Claws to teeth.
Lower level officers, such as Sergeants, tend to take Close Combat Weapons as they can't get hold of anything stronger until they are promoted. Close Combat Weapons are used by all armies, as it covers such a wide range of weapons.
