Da Heart Stoppas are essentially heavily customized Ork Lascannons that are assembled from the parts of Imperial and possibly Tau weaponry. Imperial reports have sighted these weapons at an increasing rate during skirmishes with Ork attackers, though Adeptus examinations of captured Heart Stoppas indicate there is no feasible way the weapons should work. One however cannot ignore the extreme effectiveness of these seemingly roughly assembled pieces of junk in the hands of an Ork.^[1]
