Diamantine

A standard bolter round, with a diamantine tip.

Diamantine is a metallic material used by the Imperium of Man to fabricate weapons, ammunition and armour.

Known Uses

• Diamantine is used in bolter ammunition. The standard bolt rounds for assault cannons and other projectiles have diamantine tips.^[1]
• Armour is sometimes constructed of diamantine, or walls and doors are sometimes lined or made with it, notably in the walls of a Space Marine Fortress-Monastery.^[2]

Trivia

• "Diamantine" means consisting of diamonds, or resembling diamonds.
