Black Library Description

"Captain Froer of the Astra Militarum and his men receive a new ally in their attempts to push into enemy territory - a Space Marine of the Blood Angels Chapter. But as Brother Gammarael wages war with a monstrous foe, Froer gets a glimpse of the eternal darkness that lurks at the heart of the sons of the Angel." [1]

Overview

On a verdant world, Brother Gammarael of the Blood Angels arrives to aid the advance of an Imperial Guard battalion which has been halted due to a hulking pig-like beast. With some casualties, the Space Marine fells the beast and ventures to it's lair, informing Imperial Guard Captain Froer that he must slake his thirst.[2]

Summary

On a lush world, Brother Gammarael of the Blood Angels 6th Company aids the forces of the Imperial Guard 16th Battallion, led by Captain Froer.[2a] With the battalion's advance faltered by a large grotto-dwelling porcine beast, Gammarael draws out it, battling it with his Power Sword.[2b] Recovering from a charge which knocks him down, thus allowing the beast to kill two troopers, the Space Marine stabs and subsequently beheads the beast, facilitating the battalion's advance to a nearby lagoon. Descending alone into the grotto, Gammarael informs a concerned Captain Froer that he must quench his thirst. [2c]
