Flame of Asuryan

The Flame of Asuryan is one of the most beautiful of the Eldar space vessels. It was originally the capital ship of the fleet of Iyanden under Prince Yriel and saw him lead the fleet to many great victories. When Yriel was exiled he couldn't bare to leave his ship behind and instead left with it and became a corsair.
When Iyandan was threatened by the Tyranids of Hivefleet Kraken Yriel returned to defend the Flame of Asuryan (relic), literally a flame, situated at the heart of the Shrine of Asuryan within Iyanden itself. With him he brought a fleet of corsairs who had flocked to his side after his exile and together they were successful in destroying the Tyranids.
The Flame of Asuryan is unique among the Dragon Ships, with three sails, one on the spine of the ship and one on each outrigger, which is also armed with a Pulsar Lances for attack. It also carries a powerful weapons battery and Eldar Launch Bays with Nightwing Fighters and Phoenix Bombers.
