General Sturnn is an Imperial Guard character that serves as commander of the Cadian 412th Shock Troops Regiment.
He appears in the Winter Assault expansion pack for the computer game Dawn of War and the Dawn of War novels. He does not appear in the form of a miniature for the standard Warhammer 40,000 game.

Background
General Sturnn is the commanding officer of the 412th Cadian Shock Troops Regiment on Lorn V, assigned the mission of recovering a fallen Imperial Titan, bearing the name Dominatus. His initial insertion near the Talorn capital city (or rather, what's left of it) has him leading his armies against the Word Bearers Chaos Marines, and eventually a basically single assignment turns into a full campaign against Orks, Chaos and the Necrons themselves.
He is helped secretly by Farseer Taldeer Ulthwe forces, who came to Lorn V to face the Necron threat, though eventually, the ultimate objectives of the Eldar and the Imperium clash together.
Character
Sturnn is a born leader and a formidable fighter. Even though he orders his commissars to ensure there is no retreat and absolute loyalty to his command, he values the lives of his men above anything else. He believes that the duty of the guard is to die standing and fighting.
He is admired by his fellow officers for his incredible bravery and that he fights beside his troops.
Sturnn, unlike many Imperium Commanders, tolerates some Xenos species, in this case the Eldar, be it just slightly. He will however not hesitate to strike at them as he believes that they would turn on him at the first chance they get.
Gameplay
Sturnn is the main leader unit in the Imperium faction of Dawn of War: Winter Assault. He can add other leaders units such as Commissars, Priests and Psykers to form a command squad, adding to its strength. Additionally, he can call in strafing runs from Imperial Navy aircraft to bombard a selected area with bombs and missiles.
- Equipment
Sturnn himself is armed with a Storm bolter and a pair of Lightning Claws. He also carries a Laspistol, which he allegedly uses for field executions (and uses as part of one of his special melee kills in the game).
