Defensive
Shadow Field
A Shadow Field is used only by the most experienced of the Dark Eldar kabal. It is a dark energy force field which absorbs almost all of the energy an attacking force gives off, making the wearer almost immune to any damage. It can however be overloaded and forced to cut out. The Night Shield vehicle upgrade works on a similar principle.
Offensive
Animus Vitae
The Animus Vitae is effectively a small ball of barbed wire which expands rapidly to capture within it unfortunate enemies before proceeding to drain their life force. The Dark Eldar then use this life force for their own pleasure.1-p15
Archangel of Pain
An Archangel of Pain is a bound daemon within a casket, which is inscribed with runes that all daemon's despise. It is then released and the daemon appears as a blinding figure before returning to the warp. Its screams are such that they incapacitate most enemies.1-p15
Crucible of Malediction
The Crucible of Malediction is a device shrouded in mystery as no one fully understands how they are made but each one contains the trapped spirits of tortured psykers. These are released onto the battlefield, causing a wave of psychic energy strong enough to harm enemy psykers. Often this drives them insane through psychic chattering.1-p15
Goblet of Spite
A Goblet of Spite is a device sacred to Wych cults. It emits an aura of hatred and frenzy, driving those nearby to perform acts of savagery so bestial that their screams often mingle with those of their prey.1-p15
Influential
Gruesome Talismans
Gruisome Talismans are worn by many Dark Eldar and include fingers, ears and eyes of their deceased enemies. Often this distracts their enemies, causing them to lose count of the number of Dark Eldar they are fighting.1-p14
Hell Mask
The Hell Mask generates an aura of unnatural dread in all who surround it. Often it is enough to distract opponents from making accurate hits, leaving them open to death.1-p14
Mask of the Damned
The Mask of the Damned plays on the deepest fears of the viewer by transmitting hellish visions into their minds and causing them to stop whatever they are doing and fall to the ground.1-p15
Nightmare Doll
Nightmare Dolls are toys which ooze an aura of pain and sometimes send their owner into a feverish delirium in which they may even see the future. It is, however, very risky to make one in Commorragh as an element of psychic ability is required and psykers are often treated as toys themselves.1-p15
Trophy Rack
Trophy Racks are usually a selection of skeletons, skulls and other body parts placed on staves around the grav-vehicle. Some live prisoners may also be strapped onto the vehicle with barbed wire and seeing this has a devastating effect on enemy morale. They are also a vehicle upgrade.1-p15
Vexantrope
A Vexanthrope is a mask of flesh and bone which grows onto the wearers face. It is covered with runes which spread confusion and dismay and psychically projects an image of the viewers most trusted friend or loved one.1-p15
Other
Combat Drugs
Combat Drugs are introduced into the body of the receiver through a neurally activated dispenser system. The drugs are highly effective but also sometime lethal. The exact result of the injection is always random and may or may not help in the situation the user finds themselves in.1-p14
Webway Portal
Webway Portals are the method Dark Eldar use to connect places through the webway. It is useful as a way of reinforcing positions and may even allow for attack from different angles if the attackers are unaware of the power of the portal.1-p15
