Idos is an Imperium world that was invaded by Hive Fleet Kraken during the Second Tyrannic War.[1]
The Raven Guard Chapter's 4th Company was originally despatched to rescue the world's remaining population, but were given new orders after they arrived near Idos. The Company was instead ordered to launch a desperate surgical strike on Idos, in an attempt to defeat the Tyranid swarm ravaging the world.[1]
