Iron Forge

The Iron Forge was a large chamber located on the Imperial battleship Fist of Iron which served as the headquartes of the Iron Hands Adeptus Astartes Legion.

During the years of the Great Crusade, the Primarch Ferrus Manus often resided withn the Iron Forge which was forbidden to anyne else except those closest to Manus - his fellow Primarch brothers. Inside resides a number of wondrous creations shaped by the silver hands of Manus which included a gun which was to be a gift to Vulkan of the Salamander's Legion.

Much of the contents of the Forge was damaged when Fulgrim of the Emperor's Children attempted to sway Manus to Warmaster Horus's side against the Emperor of Mankind. The two battled though Manus ultimately lost though he was spared by Fulgrim who departed. In a fit of rage, the Iron Hands Primarch let loose his anger against the Iron Forge itself which was badly damaged as a result. ¹
