Cruisers are the workhorses of any fleet.

Overview

Combining maneuverability, firepower, and endurance, they are used for anything from long patrols, blockades, to raids deep into enemy territory. In fleet actions, they support Escorts in screening the advance of the fleet, then form the gun line once the fighting begins.^{[Needs Citation]}

Cruisers are divided into many sub-types. From the mighty Grand Cruisers that can nearly stand up to a Battleship to the speedy Light Cruisers with the quickness to drive off attacking Escorts, each one fills its role in a fleet.^{[Needs Citation]}
