M'Pandex, also known as Mappandax or Zhaphadak, is a Forge World that once belonged to the Imperium.[1]

History

A major hub in the Cyclops Cluster, it was founded by Martian Explorators during the Age of Strife. During its long history, it went through several major wars and upheavals, each episode degrading its technological capabilities. Such was its decline that by the end of the Great Crusade when it was reincorporated into the Mechanicum by the 90th Expeditionary Fleet, its own mastery of Lingua Technis is said to have been corrupted. The Mechanicum was suspicious and disdainful of the people of M'Pandex, stationing Skitarii there as overseers.[1]

During the Horus Heresy, the Forge World joined the Dark Mechanicum and sided with Horus.[1]
