Necromunda: Underhive is the sourcebook for the 2nd Edition of the Necromunda game[2]. It combines the contents of the 1995' Rulebook and Sourcebook, with minor alterations (such as individual House weapon lists, and the removal of Sustained Fire dice and Hand Flamer templates). It was also published online with corrected errata as the Living Rulebook, which was available on the Games Workshop official website, but has been taken down since.

Differences compared to the Original Rulebook

The game was officially intented to still be playable with the previous Rulebook and Sourcebook, by applying the following list of changes :[1]

Templates
The templates used in the Original rulebook were dropped in favor of the then 40k sized templates ; there were only two templates : blast, gas cloud.[1]
Damage Dice
D4, D8, D10 and D12 dices were removed in favor of D3 and D6.[1]
High Impact
High Impact is a new rule which applies when shooting attacks. When a fighter is hit by a high impact weapon they will go out of action depending on the Dice roll.[1]
Sustained Fire
Sustained fire shots are represented by 1 dice per shot, instead of 1 dice for all the shots.[1]
Flamers & Catching Fire
This rule was removed completely because its complexity didnt add much to the game.[1]
