Needle pistol

The needle pistol is used by the Inquisition and is a very light gun. Despite its weight, it can be highly effective as each round is coated in the most potent venoms making it highly effective against living foes but less so against vehicles.
The gun fires a high powered, concentrated laser beam, followed immediately by a small thin poison coated needle. The laser pierces armour, so that the needle can penetrate vulnerable skin. The laser is more powerful than a standard issue laspistol but is by no means an anti-armour weapon.
