Due to an administrative error however the colum was issued without any source of fuel for its tanks and the troops had no choice but to dismount all of its vehicles and attack as light infantry. Reverting to the desert fighting traditions of Tallarn, Battlegroup Desert Fox infiltrated the enemy lines and scored a decisive victory in a surprise attack.
