The Ork Emperor of Thoas was an ork Warboss who ruled over the Thoas Empire in M30 until it was killed by Roboute Guilliman.[1c]

Biography

The Thoas Empire spanned a dozen worlds, and had lasted for a century or two before the Ultramarines Legion systematically destroyed it.[1b] The heart of the empire, Thoas, was the last world purged by the Ultramarines during the Battle of Thoas.[1a] During the battle, the Ork Emperor fought Roboute Guilliman in single combat atop his throne of rad-weapons, nearly defeating the primarch before it was ripped apart from the inside by a salvo of shots from Arbitrator as it raised the primarch in false triumph.[1c]

Appearance

More than twice the size of any other ork encountered on Thoas, the Ork Emperor was as broad as a dreadnought, its hide a mass of scars and burns, wearing a piston-driven framework armour with pipes that spewed flames. It had a fixation on rad-weapons, seating itself on a throne of rad-weapons in the centre of the cache of a lost human civilisation on Thoas as well as wearing rad-shells on its armour and as a crown. It fought with a giant Chain Hammer.[1c]
