Population is the total number of related living organisms of one species. These can be any organisms, Humans, Tau, Space Marines or Orks. Populations are generally measured per planet, ranging from a few hundred to several trillion.

Ork populations have a tendancy to grow rapidly, Eldar populations stay fairly stable to dropping and Human populations grow quickly.
