A Positional Relay is a Tau device built onto some battlesuits which records a detailed account of battlefield behaviours and information and relays it back to a unit acting as a strategic reserve. The information is heavily coded and transmitted in a tight band burst to prevent decoding. This extra battlefield iformation allows reinforcements to arrive faster and more effectively. 1-p27
