Prometheus is the only moon of the planet Nocturne. It is about 2/3 the size of it's partner, and for the most part, is barren, not even posessing an atmosphere. It's only important feature is the Fortress Monastery of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter. The reason for this odd decision on the part of the Salamanders is probably due to the tectonic and volcanic activity of Nocturne, which makes it too dangerous to be the site of a structure as important and permanent as a Fortress Monastary.

The location of the Chapter's Fortress Monastary can cause some confusion, as many Imperial Documents will site Prometheus as the homeworld of the Salamanders. Such an assumption is completely untrue as the Monastary is largely empty most of the time, as only the Fire Drakes - the first company of the Salamanders - and the servitors and staff actually live there. This is because most members of the Chapter choose to live amongst the people on the surface of Nocturne.
