Sandy Mitchell is an author of several books set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe (published by Black Library Publishing).

Sandy Mitchell is a pseudonym of Alex Stewart, a full-time writer since the mid nineteen eighties and was first published by the Black Library in 2003. He has also written fiction for Warhammer Fantasy and material for the Warhammer roleplaying game. He is known to practice the martial arts of Aikido and Iaido as hobbies¹.
