Segmentum Pacificus

The Segmentum Pacificus is the westernmost region of the Imperium. Two of its most notable planets are Macharia, and the segmentum's Imperial Naval Base of Hydraphur.
The Segmentum Pacificus borders on the Segmentum Tempestus, Segmentum Solar and Segmentum Obscurus.
This is the region in which the great Macharian Crusade took place. Over a thousand worlds were conquered in seven years, going from Macharia to Ultima Macharia, outside of the segmentum among the Halo Worlds.
During the later years of M41 the Sabbat Worlds Crusade took place to liberate the chaos held worlds in the Sabbat cluster.
