A Smart Missile System is a system of missile launchers that fires self-propelled auto-tracking missiles. The tracking system is provided by a Drone-level artificial intelligence who makes the projectile completely independent.

Deployment

Both the Devilfish, Hammerhead and Sky Ray vehicles use Smart Missile Systems as secondary weapons, they also used on Broadside Battlesuits by default and on the XV81 Crisis Battlesuit. Together, the missile launchers fire a hail of autonomously guiding light warheads which can pepper the target unit with low-yield explosives. A Smart Missile System can target foes it can not see.
