From Lexicanum

The Space Marine Fleet consists of few vessels but each are well designed and heavily armed and armoured. They are also quick but designed primarily for planetary assault of vast space battles. To this end an Imperial fleet may be a better choice for such a battle but when it comes to invasions, the Space Marines are by far the better force.

Battleships

• Battle Barge - Large and rare but very heavily armed and armoured.

Cruisers

• Strike Cruiser - Smaller and very strongly oriented towards planetary assault with large numbers of fighter bays and drop pods as well as a bombardment cannon.

Escorts

• Gladius Frigate - Similar to the Sword Class Frigate and the standard vessel used by the Space Marines for escort duties.
• Hunter Destroyer - Similar to the Cobra Class Destroyer but mainly used by the Dark Angels even though it is available to all Space Marine forces.
• Nova Frigate - Similar to the Firestorm Class Frigate and controversial as the battle role of the ship impedes on that given to the Imperial Navy, namely space battles and capital ship hunting.
