'''Biovores''' are sluggish [[Tyranid]] creatures whose only task is to grow and launch [[Spore Mine]]s towards the enemy. The Spore Mines grow inside the Biovore's body, and are then hurled across the battlefield through a muscle spasm. Biovores supposedly contain genes assimlated from [[Ork]]s.¹ They are the equivalent of an artillery tank of other species.
