'''T'ros''' was originally an Imperial mining world called [[Taros]], now . It became a Tau Third Phase Colony after the following [[Tau]] exploited exploitation of the [[Imperium of Man]] moving after the later diverted forces and attention away toward [[Cadia]] and the [[Eye of Terror]].
The capital of the planet is the city of [[Tarokeen]].
T'ros is mainly inhabited by [[Gue'vesa]] (humans) formerly belonging to the [[Imperium]].
==Taros Campaign==
The [[Taros Campaign]] was between the pitched Imperial Forces against the Taros PDF, the [[Tau]] , and their [[Gue'vesa]] and [[Kroot]] mercenaries mercenary allies in a series of battles over the planet Taros/T'ros. Everything begun when the Imperium knew than Previous to the campaign, [[Planetary Governor Aulis]] was , the head of the Taros govenment, developed friendly trading relations with the Tau, and had friendship sought to defect to the Tau Empire with the Tausupport of much of the planetary population. A When his treachery was unveiled, a team of [[Avenging Sons]] [[Space Marines]] were dispatched to kill him. When , but they failed against in their assignment after being intercepted by Tau bodyguards assigned to protect the governor. Following the assasination attempt, the new Tau bodyguardsofficially annexed Taros while the Imperium gathered an army to recapture the planet. A large scale invasion followed, ending in defeat of the Imperial army. This defeat is partially credited to the defection of a great invasion beganlarge percentage of the population of Taros, including the Taros PDF.
