Tactical Squad

A Tactical Squad is the most versatile and tactically flexable force in the Space Marine army, making up the majority of the 2nd-5th companies and the entirety of the 6th and 7th company. This makes them the most common unit in the Space Marines.
The basic squad is made up of 4 Tactical Marines and 1 Sergeant. The squad can be increased in size to 9 Tactical Marines and the Sergeant can be upgraded to a Veteran Sergeant. They all wear the standard Space Marine Power Armour and carry a Bolter. The Sergeant can exchange his weaponry for a Bolt Pistol and Close Combat Weapon while the Veteran Sergeant has access to the Space Marine Armoury. They are also armed with Frag Grenades and Krak Grenades and may be mounted in a Rhino or, if the squad numbers 6 or less, a Razorback.
Tactical Squads are also known as Grey Hunters, in the Space Wolves.
Tactical Squads are called Chaos Space Marine Squads in the Chaos Space Marines.
