The Tahnelian Airbourne are Imperial Guard from the world of Tahnel. Tahnel is a world in Segmentum Solar, and it is notable for its world spanning oceans, and its airbourne regiments.

Battle Style
Regimental Motto: First in, last out
Unlike the Elysian Drop Troops, who rely on equipment and training for victory, the Tahnelian Airbourne prefer overwhelming numbers. Troopers are dropped in large numbers, saturating the enemy's defences, or being wiped out in the process. The regiment also makes use of Storm Trooper squads.
Troopers who survive more than five combat drops are entitled to wear the Red Beret of the Veteran. Each regiment maintains a high number of Valkyries and Vultures, as well as specialised airmobile light vehicles.
Weapons & Equipment
Grenade Launchers and Heavy Bolters are the most common special weapons used by the regiment. Tahnel equips its regiments with standard M41 Cadian Shock Troops pattern infantry equipment.
