Talk:Destroyer (Tank Hunter)
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Naming convension
- Why Destroyer (Tank Hunter) and not simply Destroyer (Tank) ?
I didn't find the rule in Lexicanum:Naming Conventions, but by other lexis it is only a 'type'
- for example: Name (Dark Angel) / Name (Tank) -> and not Name (Rhino) or Name (Rhino Hunter)
- The same question for the Cyclops Demolition Vehicle article.

- It does not realy matter. First the title should be as given in the sources. The rest should be more or less uniform and be fixed with internal redirects. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:53, 9 July 2011 (CEST)
- I've been asking by the French Lexi to find a more precise rule for the naming convention and especially for this "between brackets" disambiguation case. I think an accuracy on the curent rule in this case could avoid useless controverses in the future for all lexis, and make the work quicker. --Ackheron 21:44, 9 July 2011 (CEST)
- Well. In that case there has to be a discussion in the forum. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:37, 9 July 2011 (CEST)
- On the Forgeworld website (and IA pages 10 + 11), the tank is reffered to as "Destroyer Tank Hunter", shouldnt that be the title with no brackets at all? Thelemur 01:01, 10 July 2011 (CEST)
- Controverses: for example.. (thanks Thelemur ; ) See you on the Forum. --Ackheron 07:11, 10 July 2011 (CEST)
