Eldar Navy

The eldar do have a navy and i do not see the page in their soo can i request a page to be created and i will add information from the Eldar Part of the Battlefleet Gothic Rulebook --User:Chief Librarian Eagle Eye

First, you should sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~ : This automatically creates your signature with a time-stamp.
Second, Category:Eldar -> Category:Fleet (Eldar) -> Eldar Space Fleet
--DetlefK 19:15, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
thanks for that, the Eldar Space Fleet is not on this page Eldar can it be fixed
The nowiki-command is for suppressing other commands, so they won't be executed and just displayed as plain text. Just the four tildes. ;-)
I don't see a place right now, where such a link would look good. We would need a whole new section where the Eldar military is explained in short. --DetlefK 14:10, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Corsairs, Dark and Chaos Eldars

Why are the Dark Eldar excluded from the Society section or conflated with the Corsairs? I think we should split them and provide a amall section for Dark Eldar. I also think Chaos Eldar should be mentioned in the society section. [1]--Ashendant 20:33, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

The whole society section is a bit odd since the rest of the article focuses on the Craftworld Eldar. I like what the german Lex did: give "Craftworld Eldar" their own page (lex_de_wh40k:Weltenschiffeldar) and leave the "Eldar" article for the entire race. --Digganob 20:59, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
I was gonna suggest that, but I was not sure how. Could a sort of translation be done or something?--Ashendant 22:17, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
First we need to see which other pages and templates linking to this Eldar article would need to redirect to the one for Craftworld-Eldar. I don't think we're supposed to translate stuff and moving sections from this article won't work either since the text has no citations. So, an article for Craftworld-Eldar would have to be written from scratch. --Digganob 13:21, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
Okay most sections on this page are about the Eldar and the Eldar Empire anyway. I'll try to make something.--Ashendant 19:32, 9 September 2014 (UTC)

Etymology and Inspiration

The Eldar pantheon has Ancient Egyptian, Celtic, Greek and Babylonian influences.

Dao/Tao (道) is "The Path" or "The Way" in Chinese. The tenets of the religion are a source of the Eldar's ascetic and principled way of life. The popular symbol of Taoism is the "Ying-Yang symbol" which in 40k is the symbol of Asuryan, representing balance. -- Аsuryan's (talk) 10:50, 16 May 2016 (MDT)
