Is there actually ANY prove that the picture really is Rawne? Could be anyone from the Tanith. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 20:49, 11 November 2008 (CET)

He has a star tattooed over his eye, which is Rawne's distinguishing feature.
The pic is a crop from the groupshot of the initial main cast. Apart from Gaunt, who stands out for being in the centre in his fancy uniform and carrying a chainsword, the rest of the characters are only identifiable by the fact that they meet their physical description given in the book to which this picture is the cover:
Guy with big gun: Bragg
Guy with star tattoo over his eye: Rawne
Guy with bagpipes: Milo
Guy with cloth wrapped around his lasgun (which has a unique sightpiece): Larkin
Guy with beard: Corbec
It's Rawne.--Mob 21:14, 11 November 2008 (CET)
That's an assumption. If there is no subtitle to the pic it may be Rawne but we don't know for sure.--Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 22:34, 11 November 2008 (CET)
lol, sure. You're completely correct that we can't be certain that the guy dressed as a Tanith, with a star tattoo on his face, standing next to Gaunt, is indeed that Tanith character with a star tattoo that stands next to Gaunt a lot as there is no line of text telling us so. How do we even know he's really a Tanith, come to think of it...I'll get you another one. Or two, come to think of it.--Mob 22:58, 11 November 2008 (CET)
Okay, which of these two do you prefer?

This is Rawne as he has a star tattooed over his eye and there's a line underneath the picture that says "Rawne, Elim". Huzzah.

RawneHeadshot2.jpg
This is Rawne as he has a star tatooed over his eye and it's a crop of a larger picture where he is dressed as a Tanith and is standing next to a man he calls "Feygor" and who refers to him as "Major". Crucially perhaps, the name 'Rawne' is not actually written anywhere near the picture. --Mob 23:24, 11 November 2008 (CET)
  • sigh* You don't get my point. It is very probable that this is Rawne, I know that. I know for certain that headshot 1 is Rawne because I have that inferno issue. On headshot 2 I am not even able to clearly identify a star motive on his face, so it could even be another major. As long as we don't know for sure the caption of the picture should technically read "probably Elim Rawne" because all those damned woodsneakers change appearances I don't know how many times and you'd never be able to create a "Wanted" poster for any of them because they seem to use face surgeons quite often ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:47, 12 November 2008 (CET)
