Geller Feld Source

  • A problem with the Reference : Galaxy in Flammes is ~310 pages long in all languages and has no occurence on "Geller" at all
    • I suggest to search in The Flight of the Eisenstein, but I am not convinced. Can anyone check?

The HH novels normally have 416 pages, so the reference could be correct. Although I admit that a quick scimming towards the end of the novel did not mention Geller field. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:48, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
So I checked the referenced source, this is just not acceptable what is written here. It does not say the warp drive was invented in M18, but just between M18 and M22. -- Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:53, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Sir; the French Novel has only 313 pages... First I asked myself if the French Publisher or Translator had cut something from the original story (other HH French Novels have only 50 pages less than the OV). I understand by now the making of this Occurence and my "hurry". I should have once more granted the Name of "Rote Fanatiker" for this Point : ) but, the other question is : where could we find the original first quote for a "Geller field" in the Sources ? Did it really came from the Novels? --Ackheron 22:56, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, the Geller field is certainly mentioned in Flight of the Eisenstein, but I do not think together with a date. From a logical point of view of course it is clear, that Warp travel without the field is not possible, but as usual we only allow facts with written sources ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:25, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
I agree, of course. I am still curious to know who invented the name "Geller", who appeared already in the Bloodquest Part 2; if anyone has an info.. (perhaps earliers editions from Battlefleet?, or this old White Dwarf upon Space Travel - i don't have both of them)--Ackheron 09:52, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
