Who was the person who came up with the idea that the Mantis Warriors are of Ultramarines' stock? I would like to see some hard proof, not fluff.

The 100 year penitent crusade

Didn't the Mantis Warriors finish their 100 year crusade? I believe it was mentioned in the book Warrior Coven.
