Talk:Primarch Project

Wasn't the project based somewhere under the Himalaya mountains? I might have a quick read through some stuff and see if I can expand this a fair bit - it's arguably the most important project in the history of the 40k universe! Glenoxo 01:21, 9 July 2008 (CEST)

This is correct, although there is a bit of nuance. On page 278 of False Gods, "Sejanus" (Erebus) tells Horus that the primarchs were created under the Himalayas. However, keep in mind that Erebus was trying to deceive Horus at the time, and other parts of his story (the Emperor making a pact with chaos, etc) are probably false. When I read this, I initially thought that the author was planting a subtle clue by introducing a small error to Erebus' story. But then I did some other fact checks and it turns out that the 4th edition Space Marine Codex, it says that the primarchs were created "within shrouded vaults far beneath the surface of Terra," i.e. not on Luna, on page 4. Could somebody else verify this so we can go head and modify the article? Sandalphon321 16 August 2009

The First Heretic, page 293 "This... This is Terra. The Emperor's gene-laboratories" If anyone is still interested in this discussion. Infiltrator 16:14, 9 June 2011
