The marines picture needs to be scaled down, its eating up the page.

Angron's delay

I feel the reason for the delay in fighting during Angron's war upon Armageddon is unsatisfactory, even if it is written in the past editions. Khorne is a God to which statues and monuments are not created but is worshiped through action. The battlefield is Khorne's monument. It is difficult to see why Angron should have to stop fighting to secure deamonic assistance when he has himself ascended and the comming bloodshed would bring forth more deamonic activity. :/

However, perhaps it was foreseen that the future of Armageddon would be drenched in blood and for this reason Khorne betrayed his champion and caused his delay, securing the planet for future war? After all it does not matter from whom the blood flows, only that it does.

god tearer?

It mentions angrons chain-axe 'god tearer' on this page but ive read in other articles, mainly the page on Kharn, where it says that he wielded two axes Gore Father and Gore Child (child now used by kharn) was wondering if this was a mistake or did angron change weapons after istavan?

God Tearer definition

What you might be thinking of is the Two-Handed chain axe Brazentooth. It was a monstrous weapon that not even an Astartes could lift and use effeciently. It had black stone teeth and wrapped in a monstrous lizard skin with a simple tongue activation handle at the hilt. It was used by Angron until the twin chain axes Gorefather and Gorechild were forge

War Hounds

Added referance to Legions original name stated in Tales of Heresy Book.

Ferrus Manus + Isstvan

The article says that some say Angron killed Ferrus Manus at Isstvan III... shouldn't we add that all the rest of the lore says he was killed by Fulgrim, and that this happened at Isstvan V, not III?

Imperial Armour citation

Someone please check the citation to Imperial Armour the citation says "Volume Five, Siege of Vraks, Part Two," but Volume Five is Part One, and Volume Six is Part Two. Which volume is it?--Proteus77 00:15, 19 June 2012 (CEST)

Checked: It's Vol Six (corrected). Removed two warbands as they are not mentioned in this source. Repositioned footnotes to where they belong. Corrected spelling of Skallathrax. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:17, 19 June 2012 (CEST)
