Tantalid was a Witch Hunter and enemy of Inquisitor Eisenhorn.1
He is best known for his heavy, red power armour and the chainsword Theophantus. He is also known to have made use of a concealment field to become invisible. He has an extreme hatred of psykers which was the basis for his hatred of Eisenhorn but also because of Eisenhorn's advocacy of the use of psychic powers. They met on Bradell's World, Kuuma, Lethe Eleven and finally Orbul Infanta where he killed the astropath Taesera Ungish before being killed by Eisenhorn.1
