The Technotheologians were a group within the Adeptus Mechanicus that resided on Mars in Cydonia Mensae at the Basilica of the Blessed Algorithm.

They believed in the concept of the merger of the Human form with machines in order to be closer to the Omnissiah. Fabricator Locum Kane once reflected that his eschewing bionic implants would cause a field day among the Technotheologians.

During the Martian Civil War at the time of the Horus Heresy, the Technotheologians believed the devastation of the Ring of Iron was a sign from the Machine God of his displeasure with his servants within the Mechanicum.^[1]
