Thousand Sons Warcoven
A Thousand Sons Warcoven is a formation that consists of members of the Thousand Sons Chaos Legion.
Overview
Typically, a Thousand Sons Sorcerer is capable of unleashing a powerful psychic attack known as the Storm of Change. However, to power such an ability, a Sorcerer is assisted by a coven of Aspiring Sorcerers who aid in the ritual of summoning. When commencing the ritual, the Warcoven is very vulnerable as their psychic talents are being used. As such, to assist them, the coven is protected by a number of Thousand Sons Cult Terminators.
Once the ritual is completed, one of the Aspiring Sorcerers is temporarily drained of his psychic abilities which are redirected into a powerful and devastating psychic assault against the enemy. The drained Thousand Sons sorcerer remains unconscious and usually re-awakes days later.
