Thrax was a Forge World of the Imperium.[1]
In 762.M41, the planet became overrun by Daemons. It fell to Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, to lead the remnants of his Chapter, still bled from the First Tyrannic War, to respond to the world's pleas for aid. Calgar and his Ultramarines banished countless thousands of Daemons and managed to recover crucial data-records from the Manufactorum complexes, but in the end withdrew and Calgar himself issued Exterminatus.[1]
