The Tmaran Scalp-takers are tribal Astra Militarum Regiments from the Feral World Tmara^[1b] who wear animal pelts over their uniforms.^[1a]

Before a battle they speak aloud traditional death poems, which ask the Great father of the endless skies to guide them to his side should they die and, in doing so, bring pride to their Homeworld.^[1b]
