I would ask that you follow this link to find information on the Fire Hawks/Legion of the Damned. It is clearly stated that here that the two chapters are one and the same, and is therefore fact, not a theory.

• Just because I'm a sysop doesn't mean I'm always right. I agree with you that its not an officially sanctioned GW page but there are various other pages out their with similar information. For now I believe we should leave it with what you have written and later on if anyone finds a source of differing information they can change it. I will also look in one of the White Dwarfs I own as I think it had the official Legion of the Damned Index Astartes article in it (although that wont be for a few weeks as it is at home and i'm not...).
