Uncited Articles

The following are a list of articles, created by Rlyehable that need a source:

New Interwiki

At the moment no, there isn't. If you want to avoid altering those ones or, even more helpful, make a list of ones which need multi-interwiki support, that would be great. I'm working on a method of implementing it (currently in my head) but i'm concentrating on getting the majority of the old interwiki's changed for now. Cheers--Jonru 23:32, 11 May 2008 (CEST)

Those should be fixed now btw.--Madness 23:53, 11 May 2008 (CEST)

Thanks for the help you gave on fixing the Inter-wikis. It made the job go faster and it was one heck of a job. Thanks again and let's look forward to a brighter future of inter-communications!--Jonru 00:29, 12 May 2008 (CEST)

As far as I know they probably don't need them. They tend to follow strictly an article-to-a-page, i.e. they give everything their own page, but we condense some of them, hence the need for the smaller interwiki boxes.--Jonru 00:59, 12 May 2008 (CEST)
Awesome work, really. Keep rolling. --Madness 19:57, 24 May 2008 (CEST)

Lexicanum's guidelines are fairly generic, and need work on them, for instance, when I type "Imperial vehicles" what do I link to what? "imperial" to imperium "vehicles" to imperial vehicle, or "imperial vehicles" to imperial vehicles, or "imperial" to imperium "vehicles" to vehicle, or even "imperial" to imperial vehicle and "vehicles" to vehicle? It's not specified. Moreso with categories, it is unclear if "the more the merrier" or "more specific is better".

Many policies are not explicitly defined in Lexi, so when I find some ambiguous position, by default I copy wikipedia's stance on the matter. This doesn't mean we don't have to expand the guidelines, it just means we can add tentative guidelines on the fly, moreso, I'm willing to add a "verify source" template for sourced articles whose source corrispondance hasn't been verified.

Sadly I don't have the time (at the moment) to expand and structure a more complete guidelines article, if you want to propose changes, I'm all for it, if you need inspiration check the english wikipedia documentation, which should be fairly complete on the topic. Btw, I really appreciate your concerns on the matter. --Madness 08:05, 12 June 2008 (CEST)

About lenght in stubs, if the stub is at least 3 paragraph long, I think a one/two liner introduction can still be done, Wikipedia:Lead section#Length. Remember that the lead should provide quick intro to the article (as in helping a user to understand "ah it's a character" or "oh, it's a weapon" in a blink.--Madness 08:11, 12 June 2008 (CEST)

You're welcome man, there is no need to thank. :) --Madness 21:23, 12 June 2008 (CEST)

1.) I think it's canon with only one "n". 2.) Index Astartes in no way says that the Laer War took place after the Emperor's entombment (which of course is totally impossible). And in fact it only says that the story was recorded in 893.M31, that says nothing about when the war took place. You have to be extremely careful and stick to the very letter with these dates (and even then many don't make sense). ---Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:38, 22 August 2008 (CEST)

No more of this copyleft-stuff. Either pictures get the GW disclaimer or they are deleted. Thx for your attention. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:34, 9 October 2008 (CEST)

As you're an regularly user (and declared "Interwikiest") and Madness (the user) is gone for good - I'd vote for you as an added sysop for the english lex.--Genestealer, Magus 03:21, 15 November 2008 (CET)

"Interwikiest"?!? That gave me a good laugh. Thanks. 8^) - Rlyehable
Damn, I didn't recognised the est - so: "Interwikiist" (or "Interwikieist") - sounds strange, is strange, is German :D --Genestealer, Magus 03:39, 15 November 2008 (CET)
I wasn't laughing at the word or spelling. Rather that I was notices for the "cleanup work" that I do. - Rlyehable
This "cleanup work" is essential for the whole project - if we only had users who want to write their "own" articles... for example, Inquisitor S. categorised nearly all pics (a lot) in the german lex in the last few month - not a very creative but a necessary job.--Genestealer, Magus 03:59, 15 November 2008 (CET)

Never forget to add page numbers to the sources, thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:11, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Will do. Thanks for the reminder. --Rlyehable 20:08, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Hiya, I'd be really interested in seeing the wiki on your main page, but the link doesn't work? --Orric 09:58, 16 November 2009 (GMT)

Oops. Sorry about that. Here is the corrected link - Rlyehwiki --Rlyehable 18:56, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
