| Welcome, new adept of the LEXICANUM!
Hi there and welcome. It's nice to see new faces around! |
| WARNING:
Any and all changes to the content of articles (except spelling) that are not marked with a correct source and footnote will be reverted or deleted. New articles without proper sourcing will also be deleted. See how to include sources here. Save yourself the frustration of having your contribution removed and us a lot of work! In addition not following this rule will result in the removal of the offender from the Lexicanum.
|
It is compulsory to add official sources for ANY change or addition of information!
The new text has to be marked with a footnote.
Example:
new text1
This footnote is then referenced under "Sources" at the end of the article:
Example:
Sources
*1: Codex XY, p. xx
Please note that it is absolutely compulsory to include pagenumbers (in the case of novels chapter numbers)!
If you are referencing different pages/ chapters from the same source the source itself is marked with a number, the individual pages or chapters by letters:
Example:
new text1: p. xy ... new text1: p. yz
Sources
*1: Codex XY:
In the case of novels, no pagenumbers should be given (they vary between translations and print runs). In this case chapternumbers are compulsory.
Example:
new text1: ch. xy ... new text1: ch. yz
Sources
*1: XY (Novel):
Please first test this function in the Lexicanum:Immaterium.

Blood Angel's Locations
I noticed that on the Tapestries of Riga page which you added recently, you sourced the addition as the Blood Angels Omnibus, containg the first two books Deus Encarmine and Sanguinuis (?). I thought that all the locations were revealed in Red Fury, during the Blood Angels conference on Baal? Also, wouldn't these pages all benefit from being combined into one, as there does not seem to be enough information to warrant each having its own individual page.--Ytokes 10:53, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
- Common misconception, but we do not have a policy of what warrants its own article or not (even a backwater third grade fruitvendor who is killed off on the first page of a book should have his own article). I would suggest making an overview article that lists the locations with short descriptions. The individual pages then can go into all possible details and explanations. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:57, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
