Overview
Venerable Dreadnoughts have fought in thousands of battles over several hundred or even thousands of years. From all those years of combat, the Venerable Dreadnoughts have gained vast knowledge of warfare and are experienced in almost any situation imaginable. Many years of continuous warfare have made them nearly impervious to harm and, combined with their knowledge of warfare and the galaxy, these Dreadnoughts have become very difficult to destroy. Ultimately, it requires the utter destruction of their sarcophagus to stop them.[Needs Citation]
Space Marine Chaplains who are entombed in dreadnoughts and have achieved Venerable status are known as Chaplain Dreadnoughts.[Needs Citation]
