Vitus Salicar was a Captain of the Blood Angels Legion during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.^[1]

The commander of the 16th Company, shortly before the Heresy Salicar was made commander of the Blood Angels detachment on Molech. In the ensuing Battle of Molech, Vitus Salicar battled traitor forces and faced the Red Angel. Salicar resisted the Red Thirst and the Red Angel's temptations, driving his Power Sword through his own skull.^[1]
