The Warp Cannon is a weapon of the Old Ones which channels energy directly from the warp to project a devastating beam able to destroy planets, and in concert, stars. According to Eldar legend, the Talismans of Vaul were created by the forge god Vaul to be used if the C'tan reawakened. The Warp Cannon is the primary weapon of the Talismans, and tears through armor faster than a Lance. Abaddon the Despoiler used the warp cannons to devastating effect during the 13th Black Crusade and the Gothic War, destroying a star with a combined blast from several of the Talismans.
