The Adeptus Mechanicus controls a great deal of manufacturing and developement resources in the Imperium. The Adeptus Mechanicus collectively worships the Machine-God and revere his physical incarnation, the being known as the Omnissiah, a being popularly believed to be the Emperor. The symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus is the Machina Opus, also called the Skull-in-Cog. The central headquarters of the Adeptus Mechanicus is the Forge World known as Mars.
