Aeska Brokenlip was the Wolf Lord of the Third Great Company of the Space Wolves Chapter after the Second Founding.[1a]

Biography

Aeska Brokenlip was a warrior of Tra of the VI Legion during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, serving as a Wolf Guard to Jarl Ogvai Ogvai Helmschrot during the Dulan Campaign.[1b] Aeska was known to the skjald Kasper Hawser, delivering Ogvai's verdict that he was to be allowed to remain with Tra[2a] and defending him during the fall of the Olamic Quietude.[2b]

In the Horus Heresy, Aeska fought in the Battle of Prospero[2c] and later the Battle of Yarant. It was rumoured he had been taken from Yarant barely alive, leaving his face scarred on one side and requiring extensive reconstruction including a bionic eye, a metal plate bolted onto his skull, and a bionic hand.[1a]

By the time of the Second Founding, he had succeeded Helmschrot as Jarl of Tra.[1a] He believed the enemy would return one day,[1a] and was proved right when he fell in battle with the Emperor's Children in the depths of the space hulk Cataclysm of Faith.[1c]

Wargear

Brokenlip carried a great broadsword with a dragon's neck snaking along its serrated edge.[1a]
