Pre-2017 Media

Though the Warrior Brood (Novel), The Blood of Angels (Short Story), the Warrior Coven (Novel) and the Redemption Corps (Novel) were published before the Age of the Dark Imperium was created in 2017, their stories confirm they take place in that era.

Spoiler!
This page contains spoilers for: Warrior Brood (Novel)

Chapter 6 of the Warrior Brood (Novel), establishes that it takes place nearly a century after the Mantis Warriors were found guilty for their actions in the Badab War. This would place The Blood of Angels (Short Story) and the Warrior Coven (Novel) in the Age of the Dark Imperium as well, as they take place after Warrior Brood.[9]

Spoiler!
This page contains spoilers for: Redemption Corps (Novel)

Chapter 3 - Section 3 of the Redemption Corps (Novel) has a Stormtrooper recount that his Homeworld was destroyed in 999.M41, when he was a youth attending a Schola Progenium. The main story takes place years later, when the Stormtrooper is described as being a grizzled veteran, so this also places Redemption Corps in the Age of the Dark Imperium.[10]

Will of Iron, Revelations, Fallen Comic Series

Spoiler!
This page contains spoilers for: Soulbound (Audio Drama)

Inquisitor Astor Sabbathiel appears in the Soulbound (Audio Drama)[11b], which takes place in the Age of the Dark Imperium[11a]. This also confirms that Soulbound takes place before, the events of the Will of Iron, Revelations and Fallen Comic Series occur.[11b]

Horusian Wars

The Track of Words website lists John French's Horusian Wars series in chronlogical order. As The Mistress of Threads (Short Story) takes place during the Age of the Dark Imperium, the stories listed after it also take place in the same era. Agent of the Throne: Blood and Lies (Audio Drama) is also set in the era, as its direct sequels in the Agent of the Throne series, take place after The Mistress of Threads.[1]

Fabius Bile: Manflayer

Spoiler!
This page contains spoilers for: Fabius Bile: Manflayer (Novel)

Only the last chapter of Fabius Bile: Manflayer (Novel), takes place in the Age of the Dark Imperium.[12]

The Helwinter Gate

Spoiler!
This page contains spoilers for: The Helwinter Gate (Novel)

Only the last chapter of The Helwinter Gate (Novel), takes place in the Age of the Dark Imperium.[13]
