In the past 10,000 years, An'ggrath has only been summoned forth from the warp on two occasions.  Those that attempt to summon him must have first pleased [[Khorne]] with their devotion and slaughter. Few would dare attempt it. Those that do attempt to summon An'ggrath risk Khorne's displeasure and wrath. Both successful summonings have resulted in terrible destruction to the [[Imperium]]. Worlds have fallen beneath An'ggrath's cloven hooves before the [[Grey Knights]] were able to stop his rampage. He was also summoned during the Vraksian War, when he battled Inquistor Lord Hector Rex at the Cardinal Gate. The battle was a close one, with the fate of the war as reward. Inspired by the God-Emperor and wielding Airas, a powerful force weapon reputedly blessed by the Emperor own's hand, Lord Rex managed to defeat An'ggrath in single combat and stop him before it was too late.

An'ggrath the Unbound

An'ggrath the Unbound, the Guardian of the Throne of Skulls, Most Favoured of Khorne, Lord of Bloodthirsters and the Deathbringer is the mightiest Bloodthirster yet summoned from the warp, and Khorne's most favoured servant. His name is only whispered among the Inquisitors of the Ordo Malleus and the ranks of the Grey Knights, for it invokes dread into even the greatest of the Emperor's heroes.

Among the ranks of Khorne's daemons, An'ggrath is one of the greatest and most revered. Created by his god to be the ultimate expression of Khorne's bloody creed, no one can hope to stand before him and live.

In the past 10,000 years, An'ggrath has only been summoned forth from the warp on two occasions. Those that attempt to summon him must have first pleased Khorne with their devotion and slaughter.
