Anghkor Prok[2]

Anghkor Prok was a legendary Kroot leader and is considered one of the greatest Kroot to have ever lived.[1]

He was given the name Anghkor Prok after refusing to give way to a larger Kroot at a feast table. His name refers to the act of a bull Krootox sitting intractably on its haunches. Celebrated for his ferocity in battle, Anghkor Prok came to be recognised as a visionary leader committed to preserving the Kroot's traditions, values and way of life.[2]

He was one of the key Kroot leaders during the War of the Place of Union and convinced the T'au to aid him in the liberation of the Kroot homeworld of Pech. After the campaign, Prok went to Pech's sacred Oathstone on the Plain of Bones and pledged the allegiance of his warriors to fight for the Greater Good (and regular payment).[1][3]

His body is buried on Pech amongst an enormous carved jagga tree on Mount Kaikown.[3]
