Baktar III is an Imperial planet on the Eastern Fringe. It was assailed by the Tau and defended by a combined force of the Cadian 71st and the Vostroyan Firstborn 33rd Regiment. Its Planetary Governor was Thaddeus Montague, who was found to be working in collusion with the Tau and arrested.[1]

Geography
Little is known about Baktar III's geography. The planetary capital is known as Khurik, however most fighting was concentrated around a settlement called Paradise City as well as the Aurigas Point Fuel Refinery.[1]
